KNOW HOW TO CREATE KILLER LOGLINES, SOLID HIGH CONCEPTS, AND SELLING SYNOPSES Have the proper selling materials. 4. KNOW CLIMATE/TRENDS Know the recent box office numbers and TV ratings. 5. KNOWLEDGE Read a newspaper, e-newsletter, and/or industry trade paper every day. 6. KNOW WHERE TO GET INFO ABOUT THE INDUSTRY Follow all the recent publications, websites, broadcast and cable shows. 7. REGISTER YOUR SCREENPLAY Know WGA and Copyright procedures. 8. CORRECT FORMATTING If you've got 3 brads instead of 2, you'll look like an idiot. 9. CONFIDENCE Know how to dress and present yourself in a professional manner. 10.
